Marcus Hutter (Google DeepMind)
Boumediene Hamzi (Caltech, Machine Learning & dynamical systems)
Sebastian Ahnert (Cambridge University, Biophysics)
Postdocs
Pascal Hagolani is working on biological complexity and evolution.
Muhammad Umar worked on complexity and genetic mutations (short-term postdoc). Moved on to Heidelberg University for a postdoc.
Graduate students
A. Hadi Erturk is a DPhil/PhD student in Oxford University Theoretical Physics department. I am co-supervising him alongside Ard Louis for research on physics and algorithmic information theory.
Jedrezej Burkat was an Oxford University Mathematical & Theoretical Physics MSc student. I supervised this student for his MSc thesis on applications of algorithmic probability. He went on to do a PhD in quantum information theory at Cambridge University.
Hanzhi Jiang is an Oxford University DPhil/PhD student in Theoretical Physics. I co-supervised this student, alongside his official advisor Prof. Ard Louis, on applications of algorithmic probability.
Other students (GUST undergraduate computer science students)
Hiba Khan is working on RNA evolution. She received a KFAS Young Researcher Grant.
Mohamed Alaskandarani worked on algorithmic information, and published this and this.
Ossama Kassem worked on medical data science, and published this and this.
Abdulwahab Al-Saleh worked on medical data science, and published this.
